Hot like a donkey

is apparently a local phrase and welre using it a lot in the hot sweaty rainforest.
So, after a 4 hour bus journey, we arrived at the mescot centre ready for our jungle experience. I am currently sat at the dinner table in the rainforest having seen monitor lizard, crocodile, proboscis monkey, long tailed macaque, wild boar, hornbill and kingfisher.
putting up the hammocks for tonight was fun but possibly not so much fun as sleeping in them tonight. We'll let you know how we get on tomorrow !
We're off on a night walk soon having spied a scorpion and crocodile eyes just a few metres from the camp....mm how high off the ground was my hammock again ?
Vicky says hi mum - sorry she forgot to email you yesterday when she had internet access , instead she waits until we're in the middle of nowhere to remember you.
Craigy baby - your jacuzzi is now out for rent when we're back - twinks says hi and we're all enjoying your posts.
Simon says one memory card full and battery flat already !
Em says helloo
rhea says hi
jack says hi someone on the trip who was kind enough to blog a comment to me as my family has deserted me!

omg there's crocs there =| Be careful lol, lemme know if you see any snakes, just don't bring one home with you! You know I'd be useless in the jungle with all the creepie crawlies lol you've seen how I am in a field with a few flies let alone being in a jungle ha.
The weather sounds really good, I'm bloomin' freezing here!
You've been gone a week now babeh, only 2 and a bit more to go lol. I hope you're having fun with this whole trip =] I can't wait to see you again!

All the best whilst you're there! I hope your feeling all better now too.
