So, a quick trip to the market today, then off by minibus to Kiaw. Up a large hill then down it again, but by 4wd.
Tonight we had traditional dinner with our mountain guide's family, there were about 14 of them in total I think. Guitars were produced and there was singing and rice wine tasting.
Its a little cooler here, and we are all charmed by the kindness of the locals letting us in to their homes.
Our guide has ascended the mountain over a thousand times- and apparently the fastest ascent is just over 2hrs.. Not something we are attempting I think!.
More tomorrow, depending on signal of course.

Something to embarrass Vicky: her fav TV programme from when she was much younger is back on (repeats). She used to love watching Gladiators then and whenever Wolf casme on screen she used to go and give him a kiss!!!!
Seeing Wolf on TV yesterday reminded me of when she was such a sweet little girl..............!
